How to use an oil cleanser?

1. Makeup Removal: This oil cleanser is excellent for gently and effectively removing makeup, including waterproof mascara and long-wearing foundation
2. Double Cleansing: As the first step in a double cleansing routine, oil cleansers help to dissolve and lift away impurities such as sebum, sunscreen and pollutants from the surface of the skin
3. Deep Cleansing: Oil cleansers penetrate deep into the pores to remove dirt, excess oil and other impurities that can lead to clogged pores and breakouts
4. Skin Massage: This oil cleanser can be used for facial massage to promote relaxation, improve circulation and enhance the absorption of skincare products
5. Exfoliation: Add oatmeal for gentle exfoliation to help slough off dead skin cells and promote brighter skin

• Massage the oil cleanser onto dry skin using light touch with your fingertips. This helps the oil dissolve makeup, dirt, sunscreen and other toxins or impurities more effectively
• Always use gentle, light and circular motions, working your face from bottom to top. This helps loosen the dirt and debris form your pores without causing irritation
• After massaging the oil cleanser onto your skin, add a small amount of water to emulsify the oil. This will turn the oil into a softer consistency, making it easier to rinse away
• Rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm or cold water to remove all traces of the oil cleanser
• It is always good to followup with a second round of oil cleansing or with a water-based cleanser to ensure all traces of oil and impurities are removed. This step is particularly important for those with acne-prone skin. Check out our DIY methods in our blog for easy-to-follow at home care
• If you are using a Steam Towel Method, you can prepare the towel while the oil is on the skin after massaging. You can do this by soaking a clean, soft towel in hot water. Make sure the towel is not too hot to avoid burning your skin
  • Wring out excess water to avoid dripping
  • Gently place the warm, damp towel ovver your face, covering the areas where you applied the oil cleanser. The steam from the towel will help to open up your pores and soften any impurities, making it easier for the oil cleanser to remove them
  • Relax and allow the steam towel to sit on your face for about 1-2 minutes or until it starts to cool down
  • Use the towel to gently wipe away the oil cleanser and any impurities from your skin. Use gentle, upwards motions to avoid pulling or stretching the skin
  • Repeat if desired for a secondary cleanse
• You can follow up with the same oil blend as a moisturizer, apply a couple of droplets onto fingertips and massage lightly in upwards, circular motions
• Always store this product in a cool, dry place and pay attention to prevent contamination
• Before using a new oil cleanser with natural ingredients such as ours, we recommend to do a patch test on a small area of your skin to check for any potential allergic sensitivities
