This zero-waste, aluminum-free, natural deodorant puck is made with Maranta Arundinacea (Arrowroot Powder), Bentonite Clay, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Butter, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria), Olea Europaea (Olive), Cera Alba (Beeswax), Simmondsia Chinesis (Jojoba) Lavandula Hybrida (Lavender), Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree), Picea Mariana (Black Spruce), Pseudotsuga Menziesii (Douglas Fir), Mentha Spicata (Spearmint), Tocopherol (Vitamin E). Product is made with Beeswax in our support for bee keepers; can be made with a vegan wax by request.

Melaleuca

This pungent plant is toxic when ingested, but topically has been used for years as an antiseptic due to the terpene properties that reduce inflammation and sooth irritations. We chose to include this ingredient in our blend for the Underarm Bâr because as your body sweats, you expel bacteria inside. The plant itself is antiviral and has been scientifically proven to be effective against common pathogens, which gives us exactly the natural plant properties we were looking for!

Arrowroot

Aluminum and baking soda in traditional deodorants are leading causes of severe hormone imbalance and irritations. Aluminum itself is used to block your pores and prevent sweating, which alters the way the body normally functions. This natural alternative helps you actually attach odor-causing bacteria as you sweat. When your body is blocked from purging toxins as it should, those chemicals and bacteria is then trapped in your lymph nodes, causing headaches, deep cellular changes and leading to cancer and sickness. We chose this alternative because it is a light method to eliminate toxins and it neutralizes odors while reducing oil/sebum production.
